Back in December, I sent out a message to all the 2024 captains to inform them that I have decided to step down as commissioner of the East Shore Wiffle Ball League and retire from wiffle ball leagues in general so I can invest more time into ministry.

After some discussions and evaluation, I am making the official decision that we will NOT be returning for a 2025 season which means the East Shore Wiffle Ball League (ESWBL) is now officially disbanded indefinitely, effective immediately.

So, where does that leave us? Well, I have some good news for those that want to continue their wiffle ball careers. There is a league called Shotgun Wiffleball League that plays at 305 Short Street, Harrisburg, PA 17112. They are becoming pretty established as they have been playing since 2020. I actually participated in their league last season. I got to know a lot of them and they are pretty cool. If you have any interest in playing within that league, please reply to this email or send me a text so I can direct you to them.

Lastly, again, I want to thank each and everyone of you for your dedication to our league over these past 2 years. You all have played a part in making this league a success and we made a lot of great memories! It looks like this is goodbye for now but I hope to run into some of you again in the future.
